Vermont pictures

I am not really good at taking pictures of people. I always feel like it interrupts the flow of conversation when someone takes pictures, but I always regret it later. I really wish I had pictures of the wonderful people I met in Vermont, but at least the scenery is gorgeous enough to make up for it :)

The grounds of Bennington College were beautiful.

This is Bingham, the house we stayed in all week.

The concert hall where the bigger performances took place. Rustic, but beautiful.

Jennings, where all the rehearsals took place. Apparently, it is also haunted and is the inspiration of a book called The Haunting of Hill House by Shirley Jackson. Coincidentally, the Composer Fellow for the first week of the festival used the book as inspiration for an opera scene she composed a few months before. (!)
