tongue.

I decided to start taking a Hindi class twice a week, starting this evening. Luckily I found a place that’s two train stops away from where I live. The place is called Zabaan, (which means tongue in Hindi).

The class is right at my level, quite small (four people), and uses the same book I used at Yale.

The best part: At the beginning of class, someone comes around with chai in little china cups for each student. For the amount of times it has been necessary for me to to sneak cups of tea into classes, it was awesome to finally be given tea as part of a class.

Oh, India. It has barely been a month and I am already enumerating the things I’m going to miss about you.
